FONA International Announces Emerging Business Unit Promotion and New HiresFebruary 29, 2012
FONA has a promotion and four new hires to announce!
Miriam Walsh, Sr. Sales Service Associate — Emerging
Miriam delivers unmatched service to our customers. She provides support and coordination expertise throughout the service delivery process and is the communication liaison between our sales team and our labs. Miriam has also been instrumental in developing new processes that have become standard across all business units, helping us provide greater assistance and more in- depth information to customers. She has an associates degree from Dodge City Community College.
Nadine Farran Gatti – Account Executive FONA Canada
Nadine works with FONA customers in Canada to meet their flavor needs in all business areas and build new partnerships. She has more than 20 years of account experience, 10 of which have been in the flavor industry, and comes to FONA with a strong record of achievement with major Canadian food industry customers. Nadine holds an honors degree in communications from the University of Toronto.
Jennifer Fitzgerald, Applications Technologist — Grain
Jennifer comes to FONA from the food/drink ingredient industry with experience in product development. In her previous role, she worked with customers to develop ingredients for products that met their needs and their consumers’ demands. Now, as a member of FONA’s grain team, Jennifer works with customers to develop complete taste solutions for their finished applications. She has a B.S. in food science and nutrition from Dominican University, River Forest, Illinois.
Tom Fox, Business Development Manager – Confections and Global Key Account Director
Tom works closely with our Confection and Sales teams, leading our efforts for new business development in the global confections market. Additionally, Tom will assist us in development of new core growth areas. He brings FONA broad knowledge of the food industry and confections market, and experience in global account management, sales and marketing management, and business development. Tom has a B.S. in chemistry Villanova University and an M.B.A. from the University of Dallas.
Julie Talkington, Scientist — Grain
Julie works on a variety of grain applications, working closely with FONA customers to help solve challenges and develop their perfect flavor solutions. She joins FONA with experience in product development, covering a broad spectrum of food products from baked goods and coatings to inclusions and seasoning blends. She Julie holds a B.S. in biology from the University of Missouri- Columbia and an M.B.A. from Baker University.
