Geneva, IL, February 16, 2016 – FONA International, developer and manufacturer of complete flavor solutions for many of the world's leading food, beverage, and nutritional companies, has hired 30-year industry veteran Manon Daoust as Vice President, Beverage Business Unit.
Manon is no stranger to FONA, having worked for the company from 2004 to 2012 starting as Senior Account Executive, then Business Industry Manager and finally as Sales Director. Manon will use her 30 years of experience in the food and nutritional industry to lead strategic planning efforts for FONA’s Beverage Unit and foster growth for the company. She is a member of the Institute of Food Technologists and the Canadian Institute of Food Science and Technology.
Within FONA’s Research & Innovation team, Chin-Ping Su has been promoted to Senior Research & Innovation Scientist. In his new role, Chin-Ping will be leading research and development for microencapsulation technology and flavor delivery. A proven subject matter expert and certified food scientist, Chin-Ping has shown a valuable capacity for new discoveries and teamwork. Chin-Ping began at FONA in 2012 as an intern. He holds a bachelor’s degree from National Ilan University, Taiwan, and a master’s degree from University of Illinois—Urbana-Champaign, both in food science.
FONA has hired Mike Deuschle as Business Development Director for FONA’s sales team. A 29-year veteran of the flavor industry, Mike brings a wealth of sales and business knowledge to the role. Mike’s diverse experience in territory building, market strategies and revenue growth will be invaluable to the new position. His responsibilities will include targeted sales development and international growth. Mike is a member of IFT.
