Geneva, IL, Dec. 16, 2016 – FONA International, family-owned creator and manufacturer of complete flavor solutions, was named a National Best & Brightest Company to Work For by the National Association of Business Resources (NABR).
This is the third national award FONA has received in recent months. The company was named the #36 medium-sized company to work for in the nation by Fortune magazine and Great Place to Work, and also won Food Quality & Safety magazine’s 15th annual Food Quality & Safety Award. Earlier this year, FONA was also named one of Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For and took home an Elite Award for Compensation, Benefits and Employee Solutions.
“We are so honored to be named a national Best & Brightest Company to Work For. I think it reflects FONA’s deeply held commitment to its incredible employees and our values-centered company culture,” said Tonya Hubbartt, Human Resources Director.
FONA was assessed by an independent research firm which reviewed a number of key measurements related to: compensation, benefits and employee solutions; employee enrichment, engagement and retention; employee education and development; recruitment, selection and orientation; employee achievement and recognition; communication and shared vision; diversity and inclusion; work-life balance; community initiatives; and strategic company performance.
